Different Textile goods dyeing in various Section and their Activities:
1. Woven Dyeing: Woven dyeing is continuous dyeing process.
Weaving fabric is dyed by woven dyeing section. In this section or dyeing process, different functional machines are designed as chain of command and here different chemicals and mechanicals are performed in different machines at a time. it’s production capacity is more than knit dyeing process. Such as: poplin, twill, canvas, denim etc. are dyed in this section.
2. Knit dyeing:
Knitting dyeing is exhaust method dyeing. Here the endless knit fabrics are dyed by wins machine. In this machine, many chemicals process “one after another” are done in one Knit Dyeing machine. Such as S/j, Rib, Interlock, Fleece etc. are dyed in this section.
3. Yarn Dyeing:
Yarn dyeing is processed by dyeing exhaust method. Yarn dyeing is also performed by two formats. Such as Hank dyeing, Package dyeing. Which yarns are dyed such as Acrylic yarn, Cotton Yarn, AC yarn, Viscose yarn.
Direct Dyes: The cost is low, the equipment to process it can be simple and you can achieve bright colors. However, the color bleeds and it is not colorfast. You can use a chemical called binder to make the color more stable and yet you can only improve it, but can not make it completely colorfast.
Reactive Dye: For Dark colors, reactive dye is expensive but the colors are colorfast and bright. For pastel and bright colors we always use reactive dye/ For Darks, we would consider Sulphur dye for cost saving.
Sulphur Dye: The cost of Sulphur dye is reasonable and the color quality is better than direct dye- it is a washable fast color. However, with Sulphur dye you can not achieve bright colors. Generally, we use Sulphur dye for black, navy or dark brown etc. which are dark colors. Colors of Sulphur dye can not stand chlorine bleach, and are of low crocking standards. Sulphur dyed color will also stain but to a much lesser degree than direct dye.
